Setting up for your organisation
Make DocFlo available in Microsoft 365, turn on Copilot access for your DocFlo workspace, and approve SharePoint access.
Setup is split between your Microsoft 365 administrator and your DocFlo workspace owner. Neither step needs the other to happen first.
In Microsoft 365
- Open Teams admin centre → Manage apps and search for DocFlo.
- Set it to Allowed.
- Assign it to the people or groups who should have it — through Microsoft 365 admin centre → Integrated apps, or a Teams app setup policy.
Assigned people see DocFlo under Agents in Microsoft 365 Copilot. Nothing else is installed on their devices.
In DocFlo
- Open Settings → Members and invite the people who will use DocFlo. Give each a role: owner, admin, developer, runner or viewer.
- Open Settings → Copilot and choose Turn on.
An owner or admin can also turn Copilot access on the first time they press Allow on the DocFlo consent screen. Other members see “Only an owner or admin can change this”.
SharePoint
SharePoint sync reads documents through an app registration in your Microsoft Entra ID, approved by a tenant administrator.
| Permission | Type | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
Sites.Selected |
Application, read-only | Recommended — DocFlo can read only the sites you grant it |
Sites.Read.All |
Application, read-only | Supported, when DocFlo should read every site |
DocFlo never writes to SharePoint. Contact support for the registration details for your tenant.
Check it worked
Ask a member to open DocFlo in Copilot and send What can DocFlo do for me?. After signing in, they should see their account, workspace and projects.
